NS, as the poster on here whose number of posts is the highest, on here, in inverse proportion to the number of attendances at our old home it ill behoves you to shed crocodile tears.

For many of us it's the real old ground we miss, the terraces at each end, chicken run and the standing area beneath the old stand.

I know its the new part of the ground but this was my seat since it was build. I'm finding this more heartbreaking than I thought.

Couldn't they have just demolished it without having a budget film blowing the place up? Oh no, more bunce for them in the back pocket.

B6 - that's the worst part about the place, for me. Matching green would allow people to feel less separated from the pitch. Not having it right for the first game is one thing, but then to deliberately get it wrong after that is madness. It must be down to the operator though?

Gav - doubt it, probably just an in-and-out for me.

The points been made before that if you break up the gap in terms of colour, it appears less wide. That's what they did at the Etihad

If there being gaps between the pitch and the stands make it 'not a football stadium', then you'd better tell an awful lot of stadia around the World that they aren't a football stadium.

It's not perfect but it good - in fact my experience has been better than that. There are problems which will be resolved. It is not shit.
